Our Story

About the artist:

Hi! My name is Moe Rosner, I'm from Florida. Husband to my beautiful wife, and Father of two beautiful boys and a sweet little girl.

How MajestiXstudio came to be:

In 2019 I first heard of Tiktok, and was really curious to see what the hype was all about and gain a better perspective on culture, how to speak to the new generation, and hoping to gain some new knowledge on marketing. So I downloaded the app, didn't even make an account, and began scrolling my new found media source.

As I'm scrolling, I'm seeing videos of makers creating beautiful tables out of slabs of wood and this incredible material that begins as a liquid mixes around color, mix around, and eventually would harden, to say the least I was baffled.

I went to YouTube, and began watching videos about how these amazing pieces were made. After hundreds of hours of YouTube , I felt it was time to go out and buy my first pieces of equipment and begin testing out my new creations.

My intent was to make this into a hobby, and possibly a side hustle as I had a full time job.

The first three boards I made were nothing short of an epic fail. Began by purchasing an epoxy that is meant for thin coats, and not deep pours. After spending 2 hours making a makeshift mold, I mixed the resin and hardner compounds and with lots of excitement I poured what I thought would be my first wood and resin board. As I was finishing to pour, the epoxy began to smoke, the mold heated up to what felt like 600 degrees. The epoxy congealed, quickly creating cracks all through it, and eventually turning a burnt yellow color.

After three failed attempts I put my tools down and walked away from trying to create anything made from epoxy.

In the meantime, I began a new business with a friend in March of 2020. It began great, I couldn't have been happier with the business, the pace and growth, my co-workers, and the direction the business was going in. Two weeks after we opened our doors we were notified that the pandemic was coming. We tried pivoting multiple times over the course of the next few weeks, and by the beginning of May we were forced to shut our doors.

I wondered what I would do for work, as everything was closed, nobody was hiring, and world was up in the air.

One weekend our good friends came over to stay for the weekend. My friend saw my tools, and several of my first failed attempts, and encouraged me to try again, his words spoke to me so I tried again.

I first went out to find the right kind of epoxy, then went to home depot to build my new mold, and began designing what would be the first successful cutting board.

We made several designs after that, and once I was confident in my quality of work, we opened our instagram and began advertising and in August of 2020 we sold our very first custom cutting board!

In March of 2022 we produced our first custom coffee table for a client in NYC.

My dream has always been to design and produce bespoke furniture with our clients in mind from ground up.

By June of '22 we designed and produced our first Branded Conference Room Table. Our client commissioned us to create a conference room table with their companies logo inside the table, to grace their HQ's office.

Since that project we have created many different designs and styles for our commercial and residential clients all over the country.

We sincerely thank you for being here and for being part of our story.
